Chattanooga Patriots vs. Hamilton Heights

The Chattanooga Patriots went up against the Hamilton Heights Hawks in the Hawks territory.

-The JV Patriot boys team ran the whole game maintaining a strong lead through to the end. The final score for the JV Patriots was 57 the JV Hawks 20.

-The Lady Patriots struggled with the Lady Hawks, trying hard to stand against the strength of the Hawks. The final score was 19-57 H.H.

-The Patriots varsity boys started with difficulty, everyone seeming to be off at first. Then going into the 2nd quarter the Hawks led 21 to 7. # 5 Ryan Ambrosetti is fouled and hits 2 free throws to start a unbelievable comeback, # 20 Adam Ambrosetti hits 2 in the face of 6' 7" #34 Wolcott followed by # 5 Ryans 2 point shot over the big # 34 Wolcott. # 32 Trenton Anderson of the Patriots joins in with a 3 point shot bringing the game within 7 points. # 32 Trenton comes back again to take it in and is fouled, but hits both free throws. After that the Patriots high scorer # 20 Adam is fouled on the shot and hits both of his free throws to come within 3 points of the Hawks. #13 Simons scores 2 in the face of the Hawks giant # 34 Wolcott. The Hawks are then hit with a technical foul and Adam Ambrosetti hits both shots making it 26 to 27 Hawks with 1:35 left in the 2nd quarter. Then with 1 minute left on the clock #13 Simons hits a 3 pointer to bring the Patriots out of a slump and into the lead for the first time of the night. The Hawks answer the score to end up back on top ending the 2nd quarter 29 to 30 Hawks.

-The 3rd quarter started out good as #20 Adam Ambrosetti hits a 3 pointer to tie up the game at 32 all. Then #13 Simons hits 2 to take the lead again. The Hawks score again, then # 20 Adam is fouled and hits both free throws to take the lead. With 4 mins left in the 3rd quarter the score is 38 Patriots 40 Hawks. The Patriots fight to keep it within a one point game, but going into the 4th quarter the Hawks were coming back strong to take the game 78 Hawks 53 Patriots.
